We are pleased to announce that our senior meal costs for September have been covered, a direct answer to our prayers. Any additional donations for meals will be allocated towards upcoming months. We have been setting aside funds for three major capital expenditures. Firstly, we intend to purchase new chairs, similar to those found in churches, to provide greater comfort for our seniors and guests. They love to spend time here and our chairs become uncomfortable. Our current banquet-style chairs have exceeded their lifespan and are no longer suitable for extended periods of sitting. Secondly, we plan to acquire an LED sign to enhance our communication with the community regarding events, giveaways, and important announcements. This sign will also serve as a means to acknowledge and express gratitude to our donors and sponsors. Thirdly, we aim to purchase a van and passenger bus to provide transportation for seniors who no longer drive or have access to a vehicle. This will enable them to participate in functions and activities without relying on carpooling and also go on outings. Additionally, a cargo van will be necessary to transport large food pickups from Second Harvest, which typically weigh around 1300 pounds, be used for catering deliveries, and multiple other hauling of goods. The funds we are saving will be directed towards these capital purchases. We have established a Zeffy account to facilitate donations towards these purchases, and you are also welcome to visit us and make a donation in person. If a business is willing to make a substantial donation towards the van or bus, we will prominently display the business name and advertise on the vehicle. We are grateful for the support and generosity that has enabled us to achieve so much thus far. With these additional resources, we are confident that we can accomplish even more. Every penny counts as we continue to fulfill the needs of our community. Thank you for all of the food donations, hygiene donations, monetary donations, and produce donations this week. Also, we have seen many new volunteer faces this week! This is such an answer to prayer. You make what we do possible. I encourage your comments below and welcome all the prayers for our ministry. We feel them. They sustain us when we are tired from 70-80 hour weeks and need to push through…
We hope to see you at the Sebring Football Game tonight, Go Trojans! Our Revival this weekend at 630pm Saturday and Sunday.
